What Are Fantasy Tapes?
In 1981 record companies decided to no longer mass produce 8-Track tapes, they were then only available by special order through the Columbia House and RCA record clubs up until 1987 when they stopped production on 8-Tracks completely.
Fantasy Tapes are tapes you wish had been made but never were, these are unofficial tapes made to look like official releases all the way down to the facsimile labels of that time period.
All Fantasy Tapes are for personal use only, not intended for re-sale.
Because blank 8-tracks have not been manufactured since the 80’s either we use quality vintage tapes of non-sought after releases to make these recordings, tapes that would otherwise end up in a junk bin because no one wants them.
